Clujean de Oscar: „Son of Saul”, filmul în care joacă actorul Levente Molnár, nominalizat la Premiile Oscar

Lungmetrajul maghiar „Son of Saul”, cu actorul clujean Levente Molnár în distribuţie, a fost nominalizat la ediţia din 2016 a Premiilor Oscar. Anunțul a fost făcut de actorul John Krasinski și președintele Academiei Americane de Film, Cheryl Boone Isaacs, care au prezentat împreună nominalizările la cele mai importante categorii. Son of Saul a fost nominalizat la categoria Cel mai bun film străin alături de Embrace of the Serpent (Columbia), Mustang (Franța), Theeb (Iordania) și A War (Danemarca).

Filmul maghiar regizat de László Nemes a fost distins în data de 10 ianuarie cu Globul de Aur pentru Cel mai bun film străin.
